FIRE LOOMS A WINDOW RESIDENT IN GWALLAMEJI

Resident of angwan-sayawa in Gwallameji village of Bauchi state, had a black Sunday as fire loomed after a house belong to a window destroying a lot of properties.

The incident occurred around 11:15am when some people come back from church, while others were still in the church during the service. 

Our reporter confirmed to us that the incident happened due to electricity fault, which let the ruff of the house burned down completely, including all properties in the house like her children credentials, about 50 bags of rice, and other bags of harvested crops in the house store, as well as other valuable materials.

In narrating the incident, an elderly man whose name is not mentioned speak as her neighbor, that before the fire-fighters arrival, the fire loomed everything in the house. He said “the youth really tried their best, but the situation required professionals” he further lamented on the issue of the fire service which an institution located in the community (The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi) located in the community does not have. He further said; “ lack of fire service in the institution contributed in worsen the situation because, before the information reaches the fire fighters of ATBU located in Yelwa Bauchi, the situation has gone worse even before they comes. 

So, he plead with federal government on order to provide a fire service unity in the institution located in the community to ease some of these the community are facing.
